Absolute highlight of our Panama trip

点评：A beautiful location, stunning spot, and incredibly knowledgeable guide - truly one of the highlights of our trip to Panama.
Francesco is the ultimate host, guide, and chef, and we spent two days in his company to explore the beauty of the region - on land as well as above and below the water.
Day 1 was spent on a boat touring the waters and mangroves, as well as snorkelling around coral reefs, which were abundant with life. The pace was relaxed and leisurely, and we were regaled with local history and always felt like guests as opposed to clients. When we got back, we opted to eat at the restaurant and enjoyed one of our favourite meals of the trip (our daughter is still talking about the Bolognese pasta!).
On day 2, we paddled into the mangroves and hiked through the jungle with Francesco and his dog, Italia, and were again treated to immensely interesting information about the region and even spotted a few local creatures, despite the heat. Francesco is so engaging, and spends time speaking to everyone and sharing his seemingly endless knowledge. He took the time to speak with our teen about their shared interests, and always had a kind word to say to whoever we encountered along the way.
We're already talking about next year's trip back!
