点评：Note carefully: if you get up in the morning and cannot see the peak of Fansipan do not go up - wait till it clears in the afternoon. Book it yourself - dont book a tour as no refund for bad weather. We went ourselves and our grab driver had a friend working on Fansipan who said it was raining and cold, and that we should wait for the afternoon as it was predicted to clear. AI Weather told us otherwise and it was our last day so we paid the tickets ($86 aud each)and headed up regardless. Was beautiful blue skies down in Sapa and was predicted to stay like that. As soon as we got to the top in heavy cloud, visibility was zero , raining heavily and 9 degrees celcius. We persevered and took the last 146 steps to the Fansipan peak. The numbers of tourists are insane as many groups go up between 8-1pm. Listen to your locals and find someone who has a friend who works on the mountain. Also try to go 1pm when all the tour groups are leaving. We stood in many long lines which was even worse with the bad weather. We came down about 130pm and by 230 the mountain was so clear blue skies and could visiualise the peak of Fansipan - in hindsight we should have listened to the driver.
