点评：We did a double gorilla trekking tour with Gecko Safaris Rwanda was nothing short of extraordinary a seamless blend of adventure, culture, and conservation across Rwanda and Uganda. From the very beginning, the experience was well organized and thoughtfully curated. The team ensured smooth transfers, knowledgeable guiding peter , and a comfortable pace throughout the journey. What stood out most was how effortlessly the itinerary combined two of Africa’s premier gorilla trekking destinations.
The first trek in Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park was magical. Hiking through the lush forest and finally encountering a gorilla family up close was deeply moving. The guides were professional and passionate, ensuring both safety and respect for the animals. we also vsited the Ebwiwachu Community (Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village). This experience added rich cultural depth to the trip interacting with locals, learning traditional practices, and seeing how tourism supports community development made it more meaningful than just a wildlife tour.
Crossing into Uganda, the scenery shifted beautifully as we made our way to Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge. Perched on a ridge with breathtaking views of the Virunga volcanoes, the lodge was a perfect blend of comfort and wilderness. The second gorilla trek here felt completely different more rugged and immersive offering a new perspective and another unforgettable encounter. and the second gorilla habituation was amazing , nothing much i can talk about it.
