Extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience.

点评：Very disappointing experience with the sunbed and umbrella service at Pretty Bay.
We paid for three sunbeds and one umbrella. A few minutes after leaving, my daughter realised she had forgotten her hat, so my husband returned to the exact place where we had been sitting to look for it.
He checked around our previous sunbeds and then tried to open the umbrella because we thought the hat might have been left there.
Immediately, several members of staff confronted him, shouting that the umbrella belonged to them and that he was not allowed to touch it. He explained that we had paid for the sunbeds and umbrella only a short time earlier and that he was simply trying to recover our daughter’s hat.
Instead of helping us, they became increasingly aggressive. We were shouted at, sworn at in Maltese and told to “go back to our country”.
Eventually, we found and recovered the hat, but I cannot understand why such a simple situation had to turn into this kind of confrontation.
To be completely clear, we were not trying to use their equipment without paying. We had already paid for three sunbeds and an umbrella. My husband returned only to look for our child’s forgotten property.
If customers are not allowed to touch an umbrella after leaving, this could have been explained politely. There was absolutely no reason for shouting, swearing or telling tourists to go back to their country.
What made the experience even more uncomfortable was the general atmosphere around this sunbed operation. During our time there, we also witnessed interactions with workers that we personally found unpleasant and disrespectful.
Pretty Bay itself is a beautiful beach and we enjoyed the location. Unfortunately, our experience with this particular sunbed service was completely different.
After paying for their service, we expected basic courtesy. Being shouted at, sworn at and told to “go back to our country” simply because we returned to retrieve our daughter’s forgotten hat was unacceptable.
I would not use this sunbed service again.

如果顾客离开后就不允许触碰遮阳伞，这一点本可以礼貌地说明清楚。根本没有任何理由要大喊大叫。谩骂游客，或者叫他们滚回自己的国家。
让这次经历更加不愉快的是这家日光浴床服务点周围的氛围。我们在那里的时候，还目睹了工作人员的一些行为，我们个人觉得那些行为既令人不悦又不尊重人。
