点评:TSUM has a split personality. If you go in through a main, side door, it’s a very glitzy, modern, high end mall. Really pretty, but overwhelming with so many lights, big screens etc blinking at you. Lots of clothings, kids, toys, jewelry and more. The top floor is a food court, with interesting choice. Suggest you try Kyrgyz Sonunduk. It’s their only location and they are a local favorite.
If you go in the door at the end of the building
facing GUM and the main road, you get a completely different experience. Old, faded (but clean), worn linoleum instead of glittering polished marble, tons of less expensive, clothes, jewelry, handbag and (especially) phones and related supplies. Keep going up the escalator and you will find about12-16 souvenir vendors. Some of them were high. All were negotiable on price. Once you exit the escalator, turn right and shoot for the cluttered shop at the far corner. She has some beautiful rugs and vintage pieces and her prices were reasonable.
