点评:the festival itself was great but this review is focused about the aftermath….
on sunday we left at the end of daves set to join the taxi line & queued for over an hour just to see taxis were no longer coming? we then got out the line and walked to the pickup area instead to get collected by someone we knew but it took 5+ hours.. in this time there was constant rain and my sister bless her didn’t even have a jacket and all our clothes were entirely soaked & with the cold weather it was hard to even walk around without shaking uncontrollably we had to sit on the wet grass and just wait to eventually be able to leave. there was absolutely no security around no one to help to the point where i had to go around asking people for any spare items of clothing because my sister had chest pain from how cold it was.. there were no shelters nowhere to sit and no one in the area to help or advise us which is complete rubbish how is there not even a sheltered waiting area or staff on site? some sweet girl gave me her blanket and a coat which thankfully kept my sister warm enough until we were able to leave.. leeds fest please up your attentiveness and invest in shelters or those aluminium blanket wraps that keep you warm because i’m sure many others last night would’ve had the same problem
