F1 - Australian Grand Prix的点评
点评：Don’t bother with general entry—charging over 200 AUD for access is simply not justified given the experience on offer. The level of visibility is completely unacceptable. How can it be considered reasonable to have designated general admission viewing areas with seating, only for large advertising boards to obstruct the view?
I attended as part of a group that had travelled from London, Colombo, and Sydney, which made the experience even more disappointing given the time, effort, and cost involved to be there.
The screens were far too few and poorly positioned. Most of the time, it was impossible to even get close due to the crowds gathered around them, leaving us having to rely on our mobile phones just to follow what was happening on track—completely defeating the purpose of being there in person.
To make matters worse, the track walk was restricted to a single entry point. This resulted in excessively long queues, with people walking significant distances only to be met with hours of waiting. The situation felt poorly managed and, at times, potentially unsafe due to the crowd congestion and risk of surging at such a narrow access point.
As a Formula 1 fan since the early 90s, this was one of the most disappointing event experiences I’ve had, and I will not be returning to Albert Park. Other circuits manage this far better—Spa in Belgium, for example, delivers a vastly superior and well-organised experience in comparison.
Overall, general admission attendees were treated poorly. This was a very disappointing experience and far below expectations for an event of this scale.
