Disgusting treatment from staff
Hersham Golf Club的点评
点评：I am a beginner golfer and the level of unwelcomeness and hostility I experienced when being here is an absolute shock. Considering this is a golf club that offers numerous lessons, I assumed the sight of an independent new golfer seeking a love for the sport of golf would be one of awe and respect. Instead I faced rudeness from the staff and I frankly felt intimidated. One member of staff in particular used a stereotype based on my age to discriminate against me upon my desire to use the facilities I had paid my hard-earned money for. Considering this is a golf club who are beckoning the community to aid them with their fight against the council to keep their golf club and not have it replaced with flats, the way they treat people leads me to believe they deserve nothing and it is a joke that they think anyone owes them anything. Although I am sure this doesn’t reflect on all of the staff, shame on whoever that fat lady was.
Embarrassing. I had felt genuine excitement prior to having a day out at the golf course but the treatment from those staff members has left me embarrassed to even think I could try golf. My ability was undermined; my humanity was disregarded and I was not given a chance.
