点评：Before visiting La Digue, I would seriously consider whether you are willing to pay these ferry prices.
As a tourist, you are charged a higher fare based on your passport/residency status than local residents. Paying around €135 for a one-way journey for two people from La Digue to Mahé doesn’t just feel unfair — it honestly leaves you feeling ripped off.
I understand that tourists may be charged a little more, but this price feels completely disproportionate to the service provided: a ferry journey of around 1.5 hours on a fairly standard ferry, not some kind of luxury service.
What made the experience even worse was the incredibly unfriendly attitude of the staff member at the ticket counter. When you are already paying such a premium price, being treated in such an unwelcoming way makes you feel very poorly treated as a visitor.
My advice to Cat Cocos: please reconsider your pricing and the way tourists are treated. Charging tourists more is one thing, but these prices feel excessive and very difficult to justify for the service provided. And at the very least, when customers are paying this much, a friendly and welcoming attitude at the counter should be the absolute minimum.
