点评：Early this year I completed an itinerary that took us by road and rail from Kazakhstan, through Kyrgyzstan and onto Uzbekistan. After some research I elected to ask Advantour whether they would be willing to organise transport, accommodation and drivers for the one month trip for four people. They were, and provided a quote which we accepted. From the word go I was impressed by their efficiency and professionalism which prevailed throughout the wonderful journey. They also provided guides although I had not requested them, which turned out to be a really good decision. The guides, of which there were six in total, were all excellent and so were the seven drivers that included two who drove us up and down some shocking roads in old very basic but exceedingly capable soviet era 4x4’s. Most of the varied accommodation which included hotels, yurts, guesthouses and home stays (eighteen in total) and the vehicles exceeded our expectations. Three train journeys in Uzbekistan were a great way to travel between some of the legendary Silk Road cities. Organising all the above must have consumed time and resources which paid off because the entire experience went off without a hitch. Munirshokh, Advantour’s man in Tashkent, communicated with us throughout. He gets 5 stars for his attention to detail and superb service.
