Two fantastic days of a tasting and a tour

点评：What can I say about Clair and Greg at Glen Scotia…
A perfect combination of a team that know how to treat you well. From making the booking right up until we parted company myself and my mate were well looked after.
On arrival Greg walked us through our 4 dram tasting of some fantastic drams, three unpeated and then one peated. Exceptional, including the peated one which I wouldn’t normally drink so something has either changed in me or the whisky was just superb. Greg made sure our purchases were kept safe until we visited two days later for our full distillery tour. Clair was our guide and by Jove she knows her stuff. Taking us through the full history right down to the fine art of grinding the barley, mashing for the sugar and the distillation to make a high quality spirit.
Drivers dram for me at the end of the tour and a lovely dram for my mate, what more could you ask for. Nothing was too much trouble- talk about unreasonable hospitality, this was beyond perfect.
Thanks again for the best days ever.
