Spectacular Views, but a Dirty Beach and Rough Sea

点评：From photos and while driving towards Pachia Ammos, the views are absolutely spectacular and the scenery is breathtaking.
Unfortunately, the beach itself is extremely disappointing. The sea is normally very rough, with strong waves, making swimming unpleasant not to mention difficult.
On top of this, the beach is absolutely disgustingly dirty, with garbage littered everywhere, including in the sea. There is also an alarming amount of plastic floating in the sea, which completely ruins what should be a beautiful beach experience.
It is upsetting to see such a spectacular natural location neglected and polluted like this. The beach urgently needs a thorough clean-up and much better waste management than broken garbage bags sitting close to the sea and black plastic in the sea.
I would highly recommend enjoying the stunning drive and views and heading towards Makry Gialos, Lerapetra instead where you'll find a clean, calm beach for swimming and relaxation.
