The Fort With a Waterfall on its Stairs

点评：I must say, it is one the best forts that I ever visited in Karnataka in monsoon. We had to hike almost for 3 to 4 km to reach the fort and had the opportunity to hike up the path with the rain water gushing down the steps. Initially we had to cross paddy fields, but soon the stone pathway and stony steps came up. As it was peak monsoon, so we could see numerous waterfalls falling directly on the stone steps and thus steps themselves created mini waterfalls on the path. So, the entire stone pathway became a waterfall in itself as the rain water gushed down the path, and honestly, it was a very unique sight for us............till now, we had only seen such things in reels of Maharashtran fort treks.
No matter how beautiful the ascent looked, I will not deny that the path was extremely slippery and people were slipping left and right. We carefully ascended the steps and finally reached the high walls of first fort entrance, a few more steps from here, guided us to the main entrance of the fort. The monsoon rains had turned the entire fort into a green paradise. The fort temple, the ruined walls, everything turned green due to the moss. In addition to that, the post-shower mist created as if an enchantment amidst the fort ruins. We took hundreds of photos here....the rustic fort walls, the green cover, the mist, was creating a perfect backdrop for the insta-worthy photos.
After spending an amazing hour inside the fort we carefully hiked down water flooded paths and returned back to our bus. I personally loved my visit to this fort and would highly recommend this fort to adventure lovers, specially during peak monsoons.

无论攀登的路途看起来多么美丽，我都不能否认，小路极其湿滑，人们不时地左右滑倒。我们小心翼翼地拾级而上，终于抵达了第一座堡垒入口的高墙，再往前几步，便是堡垒的正门。季风雨将整座堡垒变成了一片绿色天堂。堡垒的神庙、残垣断壁，一切都因苔藓的覆盖而变得翠绿。此外，雨后的薄雾弥漫在堡垒遗址上，仿佛营造出一种迷人的氛围。我们在这里拍了数百张照片……质朴的堡垒城墙、葱郁的植被、弥漫的薄雾，构成了这些值得在Instagram上分享的照片的完美背景。
在堡垒内度过了一个美妙的小时后，我们小心翼翼地沿着被水淹没的小路徒步前行，然后返回巴士。我个人非常喜欢参观这座堡垒，强烈推荐给探险爱好者，尤其是在季风高峰期。
