点评：I booked a trip to Da Nang not really knowing what to expect. Like many places we choose to visit, I had seen the photographs, read a few recommendations, and knew enough to believe it would be beautiful. But beyond the beaches, mountains, and famous landmarks, I really didn't know what I would find. Sometimes that is the best way to travel—with no expectations and no carefully scripted plan, leaving room for a place and its people to surprise you.
I met Quang by chance during an early morning walk through Da Nang. What began as a simple question about where I was from quickly turned into one of those conversations that makes you stop and appreciate the unexpected connections travel can bring. We talked about life, Vietnam, and the world beyond the typical tourist experience. When Quang invited me to see the “real Vietnam,” I was immediately intrigued.
I decided to join him for a day tour, and it became far more than just sightseeing. It was an opportunity to see Vietnam through the eyes of someone who has lived its history, understands its culture, and carries a deep appreciation for his country.
