Lovely Toronto summer spot, but that water is no joke

点评：Woodbine Beach was one of those places I wanted to visit because so many people in Toronto talk about going to the beach during the summer.
I went in July with friends and it was absolutely packed.
To be fair, it was a beautiful summer day, so half of Toronto apparently had the same idea we did.
The beach is big, clean, lively and really nice for spending a few hours outside. There were people having picnics, relaxing on the sand, playing sports, walking around and just enjoying the weather by Lake Ontario.
Now, speaking as a Brazilian, I feel I should give my fellow Latin Americans a little warning.
This is not beach weather in the way our bodies understand beach weather. 😂
I put my feet in the water and immediately reconsidered all my life choices.
It was seriously chilly.
That was as close as I got to swimming.
But I still had a great time.
Woodbine Beach is perfect for hanging out with friends, bringing some food, taking some sun and enjoying a very different side of Toronto.
I actually think that is the best way to look at it.
Do not compare it to a tropical beach.
Enjoy it as a Toronto summer experience.
If the weather is nice and you want a break from downtown, I would absolutely recommend going.
Just maybe test the water with one foot before making any ambitious swimming plans.
You have been warned. 😂

不过我依然玩得很开心。
伍德拜恩海滩是和朋友们聚会、带些食物来野餐的绝佳去处。晒晒太阳，感受多伦多截然不同的一面。
其实我觉得这样看待它才是最好的方式。
千万别把它和热带海滩相提并论。
就把它当作一次多伦多的夏日体验来享受吧。
如果天气不错，而你又想从市中心抽身休息一下，我绝对推荐你去。
不过在制定什么大胆的游泳计划之前，不妨先试着把一只脚伸进水里试试。
