Unprofessional After-Sales Service & Hidden Customs Charges – Do Not Buy Here

点评：Avoid buying at Paliwal Carpets & Textiles if you expect transparency and professional after-sales support.
During our visit to their showroom in Jaipur, we agreed on a total price of €1,000 for a set of carpets. We were explicitly assured that this price covered the complete door-to-door shipping to our home in Spain with no additional costs upon delivery.
Unfortunately, this turned out to be completely false:
_ Hidden Customs Fees: The order was split into two separate shipments (FedEx and UPS). Upon arrival in Spain, we were hit with unexpected customs duties and import fees totaling €132.92, which we had to pay out of pocket to receive our goods.
_ Zero Communication & Customer Service: We sent multiple emails to request a resolution or reimbursement for these unannounced charges. They completely ignored our messages and refused to respond once they had our money. Communication is virtually non-existent after the sale is completed.
_ Overpriced / Not Competitive: Considering the base purchase price combined with the mandatory surprise customs charges, their prices are not competitive at all compared to purchasing high-quality hand-woven carpets directly from reputable stores in Europe.
Save yourself the headache, hidden costs, and lack of customer support. I strongly recommend buying your textiles elsewhere.
