Good for families, excellent staff
The Inverness Castle Experience的点评
点评：We spent two hours here, including a visit to the bistro. It kept our children (7 and 5) entertained because it was quite novel. Don’t go expecting a traditional, informative museum/castle visit with lots to read, etc. It really is more of an abstract experience where you pick up bits of information here and there. Bonus points for the staggered entry so it isn’t overcrowded.
My children liked writing their Highland story and posting it, designing their own tartan and tapestry. The Runrig exhibit was a surprise hit. The views from the top were fantastic and the staff were all enthusiastic and friendly.
Finally, we had the best cake of our holiday in the bistro. All in all, it’s worth it if you go in with an open mind.
