North Albanian Tours did an incredible job organizing our entire Valbona–Theth adventure. Florian coordinated all the moving pieces, and everything worked seamlessly — no small feat for a journey involving multiple transfers, a ferry, guesthouses and a hike across the Albanian Alps!
They secured our Koman Ferry tickets and arranged our driver Ridi, who picked us up in Shkodër and got us to the ferry, as well as our pickup in Fierza and transfer into Valbona. They also arranged our wonderful stay at Adenisi Guesthouse and our local guide for the Valbona Pass hike.
Ridi met us again in Theth for the drive back to Shkodër, and we were especially grateful to have him for that trip. The mountain road is not one we’d recommend driving yourself unless you’re very comfortable with roads like these! As a bonus, Ridi stopped near Bogë to show us one of his favorite panoramic viewpoints — something we never would have known to stop for on our own.
The Valbona-to-Theth hike was one of the absolute highlights of our time in Albania, and having Florian and North Albanian Tours handle every detail from Shkodër to Valbona, across the mountains to Theth, and back again meant we could simply enjoy the experience. 🇦🇱🥾⛰️
