Little Train to the top of the Cliffs in Etratat

点评：I went on this extremely good little tourist train to get up to the top of the cliffs, stop then when I was ready, come back down again at Etratat on Monday 21st September. It is not a sightseeing train. It is extremely reasonably priced at €9 total for the two journeys up and back down. Therefore works out €4.50 per journey not as some people have thought €9 each journey. It would’ve been impossible for me to get up there by foot as it is a hard climb up unless you are fit so this was perfect. The ride takes about 10 minutes each way. Up at the top is the old chapel, a museum and the beautiful gardens of Etratat. The chapel and museum were closed on the Monday I visited. You get the little train outside the “Mairie” (Town Hall), (Hotel de Ville)
Do not be put off by people who have not understood the price or function of it. The views from the top of the cliffs are amazing. The Etratat gardens are unusual and well worth seeing.
