Taketomi Tourist Center的点评
点评：The minute you step off the slope of the Taketomi Port, there will be a promoter holding up a buffalo tour sign, and when you agree, direct you to a van that whisks you off to this Taketomi Tourist Center.
Once you step into the ~150sqm center, it's a little chaotic as it's just a large open hall filled with people and a guide shouting directions in Jap, which we didn't understand. Eventually we figured we gotta get tickets on the left, and the space on the right is for the Buffalo Tour guide to line up their guests in groups of ten to twelve waiting to be loaded into three carts. That's 3000yen*10=30,000jpy or 200usd*3carts per hour.
You'll also find bicycle rental on one side, lockers and small washroom on the other. A small corner of the main hall looks like a makeshift souvenir with t-shirts on shelves.
Kudos to the tourist center for digitalizing the island's map that you can get from a QR code on their main notice board (which also announces ferry and shuttle bus timings).
