点评:About: The BOLAVEN PLATEAU is an elevated volcanic area, located predominantly in CHAMPASAK PROVINCE, Southern Laos. The eastern side protrudes into Sekong and Attapeu Provinces, with the north-east corner in Salavan Province. The plateau’s peak elevation ranges from 1,000 to 1,350 meters (3,280 to 4,430 ft) above sea level. The name Bolaven refers to the Laven ethnic group which has historically dominated the region. The plateau is renowned for its majestic landscapes, where jungle covered peaks fall away to deep ravines, with some of the most visually impressive waterfalls in Laos.
The Four Sisters: This is the name given to a GROUP of WATERFALLS which are located approximately 35 – 40 km EAST of Pakse, on the BOLAVEN PLATEAU.
