点评:It took some doing to get there! Despite being parked on Pacific Ave near the Tacoma art museum, our GPS took us a roundabout way to get there via the stairs at the Glass museum. Wish I had know we could simply walk through from Pacific Ave! And then it started raining. Can't control the weather, and this was the only day in our trip that we would be in Tacoma, so it was now or never! On the east end of the bridge (over active railroad tracks) is the Venetian Wall, a cabinet filled with 109 Venetian works by Chihuly. Likely more than one will ever see in a museum display. Each piece is lovely on its own, sitting on a shelf in the Venetian Wall, which is backlit, but was dim on this rainy overcast day. In the middle of the bridge are Crystal Towers, two ice blue molecular towers that might glow in the sun. Finally on the west end of the bridge is the Seaform Pavilion that essentially is one of Chihuly's famous Persian ceilings. By this time, it was pouring so we returned to our car without seeing. Still a very interesting and unique Chihuly installation.
