Engagi Safaris的点评
点评：I came to Uganda for a professional documentary project, so I was looking for much more than a classic safari. I needed flexibility, access, time for interviews and encounters, and people capable of understanding the very specific rhythm of documentary work.
From the beginning, Jesca understood exactly what I was looking for. The programme she designed was rich, intelligent and perfectly adapted to my needs.
Robert’s support throughout the journey was invaluable, particularly in helping to facilitate meetings and connect me with the right people.
A very special thank you also goes to Dickson, who was my guide and driver for the entire 16 days. His professionalism, patience and flexibility were essential throughout the trip. Documentary work often means changing plans, stopping unexpectedly, waiting, returning somewhere, or adapting at the last minute, and Dickson handled all of this with great understanding and professionalism. His knowledge of the country and his constant support made a real difference to my work.
What I appreciated most was the human dimension behind the organisation. Nothing felt mechanical or formatted. There was real listening, adaptability and a genuine effort to make each stage meaningful.
I returned from this journey with important material for my project, but also with much more: encounters, stories, new perspectives and a deeper understanding of Uganda.
I am sincerely grateful to Jesca, Robert, Dickson and the whole Engagi Safaris team for their professionalism, kindness and commitment.
