Unwanted Bed Guests
Great Wolf Lodge的点评
点评：I am not one who usually blasts companies on Facebook but this needs to be done while I sit at the laundry mat heat treating all of our belongings.
We decided to go on a small “holiday” as Eli calls it to @Great Wolf Lodge, Kansas City, Kansas this weekend. We had not been here before. We were all very excited and had low expectations going into the weekend because who travels or goes to a water park with three kids under five. 🤪 The water park was a blast! Very kid friendly, clean and not overcrowded. We have nothing but great things to say about this area of GWL. We arrived Friday mid day, our room was ready early. Fantastic. We checked in, do all the normal things, check your bed, get rid of the comforter. Look over everything closely. I have small kids who will find the smallest grossest thing possible. Fast forward to Saturday, after swimming for 4 hours we went back to our for a quick supper then planned to go back to the water park. As Taylor was about to lay Frankie down on the bed, he noticed an unwanted visitor. Bed bugs. Gross. We didn’t see any signs the night before. We immediately started packing everything up and gathering ourselves while we were grossed out. I calmly went to the front desk, asked for the manager. The front desk staff were amazing and respectful. I never said “bed bugs” out loud out of respect for all the excited families checking in around us. The manager was absolutely not what a manager, should be. She rolled her eyes at me when I showed her the picture. Again didn’t say the dreaded words out loud. I asked what the protocol was and for a new room. We all know that this a health violation. Well they were at 100% occupancy with no extra rooms. Find this hard to believe. They offered to heat treat our belongings. Do you know how much crap a family of five with three littles travel with? Too much… also I don’t trust others with my belongings. The only solution offered was to put new clean sheets on our bed. Absolutely not. That’s disgusting and where there are adult bugs, there are babies. Gross. I asked for a refund for the night we didn’t stay. We were packed and in the car ready to go. I was told no. Not flying with me. Corporate is about to be blasted along with social media and reviews.
Water park amazing. Think twice before choosing to stay on resort. I think day passes will be the only thing in our future. I hope others have better experiences. We have too many friends with littles and this needs to be shared. Do better Great Wolf Lodge.

这个周末，我们决定去伊利口中的“小假期”目的地——堪萨斯州堪萨斯城的大狼水疗乐园。我们以前从未去过那里。出发前大家的期望值其实并不高，毕竟谁会带着三个不到五岁的孩子去旅行或去水上乐园呢🤪。结果水上乐园真的太好玩了！对小孩子来说极其友好。干净整洁且不算拥挤。对于GWL的这一区域，我们只有好评可说。我们在周五中午抵达，房间早就准备好了。太棒了！办理入住后，我们像往常一样检查了一下：看看床铺、把被子拿走，还仔细检查了各个角落。我有年幼的孩子，他们总能发现最细小、最脏的东西。时间快进到周六，我们游了4个小时泳后回到房间简单吃了点晚餐，接着打算再去水上乐园。就在泰勒准备把弗兰基放到床上时，他发现了不速之客——床虫。真恶心！前一晚我们可没发现任何迹象。我们一边感到恶心，一边立刻开始收拾东西、准备离开。我冷静地走到前台，要求见经理。前台工作人员非常出色且彬彬有礼。出于对周围那些满怀期待前来的家庭的尊重，我始终没有大声说出“床虫”这个词。至于那位经理……他根本称不上是个称职的经理。本该如此。当我把照片给她看时，她翻了个白眼。我再次没有把那些可怕的字眼说出口。我问了相关的处理流程以及能否给我们换一间房间。我们都清楚这属于违反卫生规定的行为。不过他们的酒店已经满员了，根本没有多余的房间。真是难以置信。他们提出对我们的物品进行热处理。你知道一个带着三个小孩的五口之家出门时会带多少行李吗？多到数不清……而且我实在不放心把我的东西交给别人处理。他们给出的唯一解决办法就是给我们的床换上干净的新床单。绝对不行！那样太恶心了——有成年臭虫的地方肯定也有虫卵。太令人作呕了。我们要求退还那晚的住宿费用，当时我们行李都收拾好了，也坐进车里准备离开。但他们拒绝了。他们绝对不可能跟我一起“飞”了。我肯定会在社交媒体和各种评价平台上狠狠吐槽这家公司。
