Park closed their gates early and we were forced to drive all night.

点评：We went to camp at the Cultus Lake Provincial Campground on September 20th, 2026. We drove all night and arrived at 10:10pm. The campground gates were locked and we couldn’t get in. They weren’t supposed to close until
10:30pm! The sign on the entry office said on a poster that their gates would be closed at 10:30pm as well. If I’m not correct, the policy for closing gates at Provincial Campgrounds is 11:00pm!
Written policies, especially for a Provincial Campground should be firmly set in place. There can be no grey areas, just because it might not he busy they close the park down early, unacceptable! Our situation, became a safety concern. We were tired, it was dark and we were forced to take shifts and drive back to the Okanagan because there were literally no other campgrounds open at that time of night!
