Gili Getaway的点评
点评：The thing that impressed me most about Gili Getaway was everything around the boat trip itself.
I used them to get from Ubud over to the Bleu Mathis Resort on Gili Asahan, and honestly they handled the whole thing so well I barely had to think about logistics. They picked me up straight from my villa in Ubud and drove me down to Serangan port, no dramas at all. The port itself was a properly professional operation too, which isn't always a given with these boat transfers in Indonesia.
The crossing took about two hours but it didn't feel like it. I got very lucky with the weather, blue skies, barely any chop, so I spent most of the trip up on the top deck soaking up the sun. The boat itself was comfortable and moved along quickly.
We stopped first at Gili Gede, where I jumped off for lunch at Kokomo Resort (also excellent, worth a mention on its own) before hopping on a second boat over to Gili Asahan. Having that lunch stop built into the journey made the whole day feel more like an experience than just a transfer.
If you're heading out to the Gilis from Bali, I'd book with Gili Getaway without hesitation. Smooth, well organised, and they clearly know these routes inside out.
