A fabulous guided tour, highly recommended!
Lincoln Guildhall的点评
点评：Despite having lived in Lincoln for many years, I had never visited the Guildhall. My son suggested it today, on a visit home from London, and it was a great decision. We were initially a little concerned as, although we tried to book several times, no one answered the phone. We were therefore unsure, until the door was opened at 2pm, whether there would definitely be a tour!
We are so glad that we persisted! It was an outstanding experience and huge thanks are due to Colin, our guide, for sharing his expertise and answering numerous questions. Colin absolutely made this tour! Colin's talk actually brought in elements from our many other experiences of Lincoln eg of the cathedral, The Usher Gallery, The Museum of Lincolnshire Life, the Sessions House and the castle. For me, the most exciting part was seeing the Royal seals and documents which I didn't realise were there.
Ps Ironically, Colin, on the way home I realised that you once, very patiently, gave me and my international students from the university a tour of the cathedral!
