A memorable 3-country safari - unlike any other

点评：We took the 15-day safari to Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe/Victoria Falls in late September and early October. The trip was excellent and the very highlight was our driver/guide, Lion. He was extremely knowledgeable, attentive and kind and made the trip very special and memorable for us. We highly recommend him to those traveling in the area.
We opted for the luxury category and all, but two, of the accommodations were in that category, although those were not bad. The food was, by and large, excellent. There was a lot of driving, but we had a large area to cover. The visit to the Living Museum village of the Damara people was very informative and well-organized. However, the visit with the Himba people was less enjoyable, as we were unprepared for the repeated pressure for various financial contributions, and this was a detraction to the trip. In our opinion, it would be better to include a meaningful contribution or compensation to them in the tour price, instead of people being put on the spot.
The scenery was spectacular in Sossuvlei and Victoria Falls and there certainly was opportunity to see and photograph an impressive number of wildlife species throughout the tour.
On the whole, the trip was an excellent experience and, as mentioned above, was greatly enhanced by our driver guide, Lion.
