Dorset Nectar Cider的点评
点评：We got the visit through Groupon although you can book directly. We were stuck in traffic and only arrived 1 minute before 1100 but this was not an issue and the tour started at about 1110. All of the staff were very pleasant and incredibly informative throughout the whole experience. A bit of group wassailing may have scared the dogs but, as they were all on leads, it did not matter and the farm dog seemed indifferent to a group of strangers shouting out. A bit of mulled cider whilst walking around was welcomed by the tour as it was a bit windy. Two stops in the orchard and plenty of opportunity to ask questions before going and seeing the bottling area and more information and Q and A. Over to the tasting area for trying four of the ciders out of the 13 that they now produce along with tasting of the apple cider vinegar. As with the rest of the tour there was plenty of information and opportunity to ask questions. We then had the optional ploughmans meal which was great although there was no pickled element (pickle some onions in your cider vinegar maybe) which is the only downside to the whole day! If this is the worst that I can find then it shows that 5 stars is a definite! A very competitively priced shop at the end rounded off a great couple of hours! Many thanks!
