点评：I have been coming here for around five years now, and overall, I think it’s a great place for camping. One year, we stayed in Shortake next door because this campsite was closed for the summer.
I think the pricing is really good for what you get, including the shops, amazing views, access to the beach, sauna and hot showers. However, one downside is that the toilets can smell quite bad. I would expect them to smell a little, especially at a campsite, but in the summer, particularly when it’s very hot, the smell can sometimes be quite strong. Luckily, we couldn’t smell it from our tent.
In my opinion, one of the best places to set up your tent is behind or underneath the hill section, as it’s more sheltered and less windy while still having a great view. Speaking of the wind, it can get quite windy at night, and your tent may flap around regardless of the weather conditions. You might want to bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper, although personally, I can deal with it fine.
The hay bales are great fun for kids and teenagers to play on, and the shops are really useful. There’s also a food and pizza van, as well as some great facilities, including the Turkish bath, sauna and hay bale barn. Overall, I really enjoy coming here and would definitely recommend it for camping!
