Earl Scruggs Center的点评
点评：This is a well done presentation of the life and the impact on music of Earl Scruggs. If you wish to hear the music and learn about blue grass, country music and the instruments played to make that music, this is the place! Everyone is given a pair of earpieces , earphones for those with a hearing deficit, so that each person can plug into the many digital displays the hear testimonials, music, or explanation of the creation of this genre of music. A short video to watch is encouraged to get background on Earl Scruggs and his childhood.
Plan to spend at least 2 hours, but you could easily spend 4 or 5 hours if you want to see, read, and listen to everything this museum has to offer.
On the 2nd floor is a temporary exhibit about the settlement of the area and how the local people were involved with the Revolutionary War.
Also offered on the2nd floor is a recording sound booth where you can make a recording and email it to yourself.
