Savannah Lakes Village Monticello Golf Club的点评
点评：Full disclosure : We have lived here on Monticello Golf course for two years. This review is for the course itself and should not be applied to the community.
The course was designed by a marvelous architect named Tom Jackson. The course plays 6493 from the "blues", 6054 from the "whites" and 5554 from the "gold" tees.
The course design is very picturesque and quite challenging even though the fairways are quite wide. The greens are large but, undulated and well guarded by sand and water. The conditions of the greens fluctuate from slow and bumpy through the winter until mid April, when they smooth out. The greens are only superb in September around the club championships. The pace of play fluctuates as well. Some rounds take almost five hours but, I have played it in 3hrs and 5 minutes on a Saturday. (Go figure) An average weekend round is played around 4.5 hrs. The cost of 18 holes with cart is at time of writing.. is $61.00 weekends. After 2:00 pm weekdays cost is reduced to $44.00
