Forrest Gump Point的点评
点评：Forrest Gump Point is exactly what you’d expect: an incredible view of the long, straight highway leading toward Monument Valley and a great opportunity to recreate one of the most recognizable road-trip photos in the Southwest.
It was fairly crowded when we visited, with seemingly everyone stopping to take some version of the same photo. It is an obvious social media destination, but that doesn’t take away from how spectacular the view actually is. Seeing Monument Valley rising in the distance with the highway stretching toward it is absolutely worth the stop.
The biggest caution is traffic. People can become so focused on getting their photo that they stand in the middle of the highway without paying enough attention to approaching vehicles. This is still an active road, so whether you’re taking pictures or driving through, be careful and stay aware of your surroundings.
Yes, you’re probably going to take essentially the same picture as everyone else—but there’s a reason everyone wants it.
