An Unforgettable Week with Captain Joseph in Treasure Beach 🇯🇲🌴

We spent six days of our vacation in Jamaica at Treasure Beach, and meeting Captain Josef was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!
On our first evening, we contacted Josef and he took us to his beautiful hideaway, where we enjoyed amazing cocktails, fantastic food and a wonderful evening relaxing by his private pool.
The next day, we booked a boat trip with him. After travelling about 30 minutes to his private area, we spent the morning relaxing and swimming in the most beautiful sea. We were spoiled with cocktails and drinks before Josef prepared an incredible meal for us over an open fire. We enjoyed lobster, red snapper and the famous blue crab. Watching him prepare everything fresh while we relaxed was such a special experience. It was honestly one of the best days of our holiday!
A couple of days later, Josef took us on another fantastic adventure, this time to the Black River. We travelled along the coast, passed the famous Pelican Bar and then continued up the Black River. The scenery and atmosphere were completely different from the ocean and absolutely beautiful.
We stopped at Sister Louise’s Crab House for fresh crab and cold beer before continuing along the river. Josef then took us to a spot where we could jump from a little treehouse into the refreshing river — so much fun! On the way back, we even spotted a huge crocodile, which was incredibly exciting.
On our final day in Treasure Beach, we returned to Josef’s Hideaway and spent the whole day relaxing by the private pool, enjoying cocktails and eating his amazing fried chicken and garlic shrimp with chips. Josef even provided free transport to and from our accommodation, which was such a lovely extra touch.
Captain Josef is incredibly friendly, funny, welcoming and caring, and his staff are just as lovely. He genuinely went out of his way to make sure we had an amazing time.
I highly recommend Captain Josef to anyone visiting Treasure Beach! 🇯🇲🌴🚤🍹🦀
