The Bannatyne Spa的点评
点评：My partner and I booked a spa day with Bannatyne because of its reputation for providing a premium, luxury experience. While the spa treatments themselves were good and the massage therapists were professional and welcoming, the overall condition of the rest of the facilities was far below what we expected and significantly impacted our enjoyment of the day.
The leisure facility itself was considerably less spacious than we had expected. The swimming pool was very small, the steam room and sauna could each only comfortably accommodate around four people, there were only four lounge chairs available in the entire spa area, and, most disappointingly, the jacuzzi was out of order. These limitations meant it was difficult to relax or enjoy the facilities for any length of time, particularly when other guests were using them.
More disappointing, however, was the general condition and cleanliness of the spa. The changing rooms appeared tired and in need of refurbishment, the toilets were unclean, several showers did not function properly, and the stairwell leading from the changing rooms to the pool area was visibly neglected. We also noticed cobwebs and dust on the ceilings around the pool area, which further detracted from what should have been a clean and luxurious environment.
The quality of the treatments demonstrated that parts of the experience met Bannatyne's usual standards, but unfortunately they could not compensate for the poor condition of the wider facilities. Rather than leaving feeling refreshed and relaxed, we spent much of the day feeling disappointed that the environment fell so far short of the premium experience that had been advertised and that we had paid for.
Had we known the true condition of the facilities before booking, we would have chosen a different spa. I appreciate that occasional maintenance issues can arise, but the number of problems we encountered suggested that this was not an isolated issue.
