点评：Sorry to see a review saying Virginia City was a ‘walking wallet trap’ because the wonderful Nevada Comstock and old West history was totally missed! This is a fun history and learning experience. My grandmother’s grandparent Ritter’s building, built in 1876, is now a wonderful Roasting House coffee shop. On the back deck there is an amazing view of the valleys below. I enjoy taking my grands, 7th generation of family, to experience V.C. at different seasons.
My grandmother & her mother’s family all attended the Historical Fourth Ward School where a tour takes you back in time to one of the most modern schools of that era .
Walking through the streets on board walks you can enjoy many shops and explore Mining history including an underground mine tour.
Walk through the beautiful cemetary for life stories
. St Mary’s church also can tell a history of its own with another beautiful photo op. Enjoy the fresh air in the mountains and have fun.
