Riverboat Twilight的点评
点评：What a relaxing 2-day riverboat cruise. We loved just listening and watching the beautiful scenery pass by and being able to see sights we couldn't see any other way than being on the Mississippi. Spectacular landscapes on both the Illinois and Iowa river banks.
All the while, captain Kevin continuously announced information on all the towns along the Mississippi river. He told us about the different barges, tugboats and lock and dam system that we passed on our trip.
The staff was excellent, what an amazing group of hard workers. Everyone was friendly and cheerful making all feel welcome. We especially enjoyed the humor & conversations we had with our waiter and the bartender.
The trivia contest was fun and a great way to learn interesting facts about the river. By just listening carefully to the captain’s informative narration about the history and mystery of the river throughout the trip you managed to learn the answers as we went up and down the river.
The historic Dubuque Trolley tour after we arrived in Dubuque was very informative and well worth it.
How blessed we are to have a tourist attraction like this in Eastern Iowa.
