fun day, just as advertised!
Captain Jack's Airboat Tours的点评
点评：It was about a 45 minutes drive from South Beach on Marco Island. We had an 11:15 am reservation for Captain Jack's airboat tour on 3/23/26 through the mangroves maze. We were on an airboat that seated 6 people and were highly entertained the entire time. Our captain was skilled at driving the airboat and had lots of punny little stories to tell. We went fast enough that I kept a hand on my ball cap for most of the ride! We didn't see much wildlife, the boats are pretty loud. The experience is more about the fun of the ride!
We then drove 6 minutes to Wootens to see the included alligator show and to hold an alligator. It was included with our Captain Jack's ticket. I have to say that this was the highlight of our day. Jeff, the third generation alligator wrestler, was FANTASTIC. He gave us so much information in a really entertaining way with Charlie the alligator. We arrived at the end of the previous show and had to sit for about 30 minutes for the next show. It was completely worth the wait. The show was followed up with an opportunity to hold a baby alligator. She weighed about 40 pounds and clear instructions were given on how to properly and safely hold her. There was also soap and water for washing your hands after, as well as restrooms near the gift shop.
We could have gone a little earlier in the day. It was getting hot in the afternoon. We still got back to our condo for plenty of beach time.
