点评:I came away from Waterworld lucky to have not come off any worse I think. See photo.
A mixed review of this place.
I went for a day (52 year old woman) with my husband and our two teenage boys aged 13 and 14 and another family who had a great time.
Though afterwards they said as I hurt myself they prefer Aqua Diver park better. (We went in 2025).
I went on 3 slides before I rode the hurricanes once with my husband. He was at the front of the inflatable as heavier, and as we flipped over the drop in the flume my head was thrown backwards hurting my neck. It was uncomfortable and felt like it was strained but I carried onto the Storm ride going down the purple slide.
On Storm I lay on my back and went down the purple slide and that was the last thing I remember until regaining consciousness at the bottom after hitting the water face down “like a sack of potatoes”my family told me. I had hit my head, arm and side somewhere on the way down and knocked myself out. I have no recollection of being in the big funnel before you are spat out of the bottom.
I was taken down to first aid in a wheel chair by the life guard.
The medic asked how I was feeling (dizzy, wobbly etc headache) gave me a note and a paracetamol and told to go to the hospital if I feel sick or head ache gets worse etc.
This is fine but I was wheeled back up to the grass where we were sitting and then I was left with no further follow up from anyone. I was only given some ice cubes in a piece of gauze to hold on my head/eye which quickly melted as it was 32degrees. Luckily a very kind Spanish man gave me an ice pack out of his cool box which I held on my head for a couple of hours after the accident. He offered me a can of cola too.
Someone should have come and checked on me, offered a drink and a lounger at least.
Our friends daughter was sent down a slide while there was another girl still standing at the bottom who got knocked over!
I think the health and safety at the park is questionable!
6 Euros to park the car, extra for loungers, fair amount of queuing, toilets not the cleanest and life guards sending people down slides when it is not yet clear of the first rider. My life guard helped me but a follow up should have happened and a proper ice pack provided and maybe a bed in the park/first aid room should have been offered.
