Dalkeith Country Park的点评
点评：Fabulous day out with the family, including our two kids of 5 and 8 years. We spent most of our time in Fort Douglas (the huge adventure playground). It is so well thought out and includes plenty of sitting places and a coffee stop for parents too. We had good weather which was great and meant the slides were dry, however the kids areas are pretty well covered.
Car parking is paid up front by card only. At time of writing it is £4. The Fort entry is very reasonable too and so worth it.
Our kids loved seeing the beehive by the entrance to the Fort and we also enjoyed a walk along the river to find the two geocaches that are set within the park (with permission). The palace and grounds are well kept and impressive. A wonderful day out and I would highly recommend it to others - with or without kids. We will return when we next return to Edinburgh.
