* Famous and unique one-of-its-kind attraction in Israel
* Amazing cave excavation open for exploration on the path to see stalagmites and stalagmites and stuff like that
* Interesting and hauntingly dark and eerie adventure for children
* Educational
* It can be combined with hiking, picnic and camping adventures
* Very scenic forest
* Special and Biblical historic area
* Part of national park system
CONS
* Totally out of the way of any other tourist site or attraction
* Only accessible access is by car along long winding narrow road without guard rails
* It is over m ore than 180 cobbled turning winding steps from the entrance kiosk to the start of the cave, which then involves more steps
* Wet and dark and lit in yellow and steps inside and very slippery
* Payment required
"I VISITED THIS PLACE"...
... with Grand Prince Place III, son of Princess Place I. It was Israel Independence day.
The drive to the place from the nearest civilization, is a steady uphill and then there is a long long winding narrow descent on hazardous road without railing supports until we got to the parking area.
We paid, walked down the 180+ cobbled stone steps and waited at the kiosk/ gift shoppe with others in what became our group- until we were allowed to enter the hallowed hall at the start of the cave.
The entrance is dark but artificially colored yellow-orange. There re numerous steps and trails- all wet and treacherous. It is certainly interesting- see my many "helpful"👍photos 📷
We left when we completed the circuit.
EWAS IT WORTH THE COST?
One pays as per a national park. so probably yes- it was worth it
WOULD "I VISIT THIS PLACE" AGAIN?
In order to escort others or a tour group

* Know the location far from anything
* Know the treacherous winding road
* Know about the 180+ steps from the kiosk
* Know that it is dark wet and slippery inside

从最近的聚居地驾车前往此处时，需要先持续上坡，随后则是一条漫长、蜿蜒且狭窄的下坡路；沿途没有任何护栏保护，路况十分危险，直到我们抵达停车场。
我们付了费。我们走下180多级鹅卵石台阶，然后和其他人一起在小卖部/纪念品店前等候——后来我们便成了同一组游客——直到获准进入洞穴中那神圣的大厅。
入口处一片漆黑，但有人用灯光将其染成了黄橙色。这里有无数台阶与小径，全都湿滑难行、极易摔倒。不过确实很有趣——请看看我拍的那些“实用”👍的照片📷。
走完整个游览路线后我们就离开了。
这费用值得吗？
收费标准与国家公园类似。所以很可能答案是“是的”——这一切都是值得的。
我会“再次光临这个地方”吗？
