Don't miss Black Point - and try for Nancy M as your tour guide!

点评：This is an amazing tour in a beautiful historic home and grounds. Our tour guide, Nancy M, spoke for over an hour with fascinating tales about the Seipp family and their beer brewing success as well as the role the Seipp's played in Lake Geneva and Chicago history. As I understand it, our tour guide did the research for the historic site which explains her flawless delivery WITH NO NOTES and some humorous side comments. And Nancy's family had a summer home purchased in the early 60s about a mile from Black Point so she remembers when this lovely mansion was a private home and knew Bill Peterson - the last descendent of the Seipp family - who donated the home to the state of Wisconsin in 2005. We ended the tour in the gift shop where we could purchase a beer representative of the original recipe (and damn good!) and then could tour the lovely grounds. Don't miss this tour and if you get Nancy M as a tour guide, bonus!!!!
