It was a lovely evening. We started with a walk through the olive grove, where we learned about how the olives are grown and harvested. We then returned to the centre just in time to watch the sunset.
We were seated at a long table with other couples from a variety of different countries, which made for a really friendly atmosphere. Lena taught us how to taste olive oil properly and what to look for when reading the labels and packaging.
Each of us received a snack box with bread, meats, cheeses, fruit and, of course, the delicious olive oils they produce. They also happily accommodated a vegan request with a separate snack box, which was much appreciated.
A thoroughly enjoyable experience, and one I’d definitely recommend!
