Beautiful views – but be prepared for the drive

点评：Keri Lighthouse Viewpoint offers absolutely beautiful views and is definitely worth seeing if you are exploring this part of Zakynthos.
The viewpoint itself is easy to visit and there is no difficult walk involved. There are also refreshments available and a restaurant at the viewpoint. We didn’t eat at the restaurant, so I can’t comment on the food, but the option is there.
The main thing to be aware of is the drive and parking. We visited outside the main high season and the traffic was still complete chaos. The roads through the last villages and down towards the viewpoint are very narrow, and meeting other cars can be challenging. For the last 600 metres or so, traffic had come to a complete standstill. Cars were stuck in every direction on the narrow road. If you are not a confident driver, this is definitely something to consider.
Unless you arrive very early, I would recommend parking some distance away and walking the final part rather than trying to drive all the way down. We were lucky as this was our first stop of the day, but even then it was extremely busy.
Once you are there, however, the scenery is fantastic and makes the trip worthwhile. If you go early and are prepared for the traffic situation, it is a beautiful place to visit.
