点评：I had an unforgettable evening last night at the iconic Royal Hawaiian Mai Tai Bar, and it might just be my favorite spot in Waikiki. The timing couldn’t have been better — I arrived right as the sun was dipping toward the ocean.
The setting is pure magic. You’re right on the beachfront with those famous pink Royal Hawaiian umbrellas, swaying palm trees, tiki torches lighting up as the sky turns from gold to deep blue. Last night the weather was ideal for sunset — warm with a gentle ocean breeze, clear skies, and that soft golden light that makes everything (and everyone) look amazing. No rain, no humidity overload, just perfect Hawaiian evening vibes.
I was feeling myself in my little emerald green dress, sipping on one of their famous mai tais while watching the sunset paint the sky. This single gal in her mid-50s is thoroughly enjoying this chapter of life, and places like this make it even sweeter. The aloha spirit is strong here — the bartenders and guys around the bar were all so friendly and attentive, which just added to the good energy of the night.
The atmosphere was lively but not chaotic. Great people-watching, live music drifting through the air, and that unbeatable backdrop of Diamond Head in the distance and waves rolling in. I spent hours soaking it all in, chatting with nice people, and feeling like I was exactly where I was supposed to be.
