点评：I recently completed my Mountain Leader Training with RAW Adventures, and it was a brilliant experience from start to finish.
Dan, Alex, Cara and Sam were all fantastic. They gave us plenty of opportunities to practise the skills ourselves rather than simply showing us what to do, allowing us to develop our navigation, leadership, steep-ground, ropework and expedition skills throughout the week.
I’m profoundly Deaf and use British Sign Language (BSL), and I attended the course with a BSL interpreter. RAW were incredibly supportive and accommodating of this from the beginning. The instructors worked naturally alongside my interpreter and made sure communication never became a barrier to my learning or involvement with the group.
I came away from the week with much more knowledge, confidence and, importantly, an understanding of the responsibility involved in safely leading others in the mountains.
I would definitely recommend RAW Adventures to anyone considering Mountain Leader training. I’m now looking forward to developing everything I learned during my consolidation period, building my Quality Mountain Days and will be returning to RAW for my Mountain Leader Assessment.
