点评：First time up Ben Nevis, straight onto the CMD Arête so I needed an expert to trust; Joe, the RAW guide, was exactly that. He was friendly, knowledgable and brought the trek to life through his vast knowledge and experience of the history, flora and fauna, sites and geography of the route. At all stages I knew what to expect, was led just slightly out of my comfort zone (precisely what I’d hoped for) and completed the task with a real sense of achievement.
The scenery was phenomenal, made all the better by the perfect weather conditions - cool, clear, dry and windless. Nevertheless, Joe still took the time to explain how we would deal with changing conditions, had they occurred, and I was utterly confident in his ability to safely deliver success.
RAW provided ample time and information to ensure I arrived prepared, and the photos at the end were a nice touch.
Overall, very happy with the experience and worth every penny.
