Beautiful & serene even after the Tulip season is Officially over

点评：We drove 1+ hours to visit (a few days after the Spring Tulip season ended). The gardens had dappled sunlight & were alot more shaded than we expected, which was nice because the sun was hot & high 70s temp. Though probably only 1/2 the tulips plants were blooming , it was still very impressive. They had "dead headed" the old tulip flowers, so everything looked fresh. We were able to easily get into Parking lot A which is very close to the gardens entrance. Though signage declared otherwise; it did not seem wheelchair, stroller or recommended for those who have trouble walking.(Speaking from experience!) Also, though there is a playground outside the market, I do not think that this place is well suited for small children (unless they are Extremely obedient & can handle not running around & just looking), as going off path ,touching flowers, etc is against the rules. We had the place pretty much to ourselves-maybe saw 6 people in the gardens while we were there. A docent was roaming around-available for questions. We did check out the gift shop ( eastern mystical spiritual themed ) And we visited the market that had a variety of "healthy"brand name packaged food,cold case things like cheeses, drinks as well as onsite made heat upables (microwave in store). There were picnic tables under trees out side. The whole place was very serene & like a nature preserve (geese nesting in the small ponds).The atmosphere outside the gardens was hippy/bohemian ,with the "retreat" cabins being old run down summer camp type. The trip was totally worth it. It's a photographer's delight & a great place to just sit & soak up being in nature.For the best experience, avoid crowds !
翻译：我们驱车一个多小时去参观（春季郁金香花期结束后几天）。花园里阳光斑驳，比我们预想的要阴凉得多，这很舒服，因为阳光很强烈，气温高达70多华氏度（约21-26摄氏度）。虽然可能只有一半的郁金香盛开，但景色依然令人印象深刻。园方已经修剪了残花败叶，所以一切看起来都很新鲜。我们很轻松地就找到了A停车场，它离花园入口很近。虽然有指示牌说明并非如此，但感觉这里并不适合轮椅、婴儿车，也不推荐行动不便的人来。（这是我的亲身经历！）另外，虽然市场外面有个游乐场，但我认为这里不太适合小孩子（除非他们非常听话，能做到不乱跑，只是看看而已），因为擅自离开小路、触摸花朵等等都是不允许的。我们几乎独享了整个花园——在我们游览期间，可能只看到了六个人。一位讲解员在园内巡视，随时解答游客的疑问。我们逛了逛礼品店（以东方神秘灵修为主题），还去了市场，那里有各种“健康”品牌的包装食品、冷藏柜里的奶酪、饮料，以及现场制作的加热食品（店内有微波炉）。外面树荫下摆放着野餐桌。整个地方非常宁静，宛如一个自然保护区（小池塘里有鹅在筑巢）。花园外的氛围充满嬉皮士/波西米亚风情，“静修”小屋则像是老旧的夏令营小屋。这次旅行绝对值得。这里是摄影爱好者的天堂，也是静静享受大自然的绝佳去处。想要获得最佳体验，请避开人群！
