Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute的点评
点评：First the museum name was updated in 2023 to "Munson Museum". It provides a wide array of art undertakings. We visited the museum to see the art exhibit. They have a permanent collection and during our visit a special exhibit of watercolors by American painter Charles E. Burchfield.
We really enjoyed the special exhibit. There was a special charge for that. The museum is free for some displays.
They have an impressive collection of works by some very well-known artists and some we didn't know.
We also walked over to the Fountain Elm exhibit; the home of Helen Munson Williams' family. There are furnishings, a dollhouse, and more items from the family. It is an interesting look into the home life of a prominent local family.
They have an outside sculpture garden, but we didn't explore that.
All-in-all it was an excellent outing. View their webpage for news about displays and happenings.
They do have an elevator, free parking with disabled parking spots and bathrooms. There is a restaurant there, but it didn't seem to be open when we toured.
