A Thoughtful Wine Tour with Characterful Wines

点评：My husband and I did the Viaggo tour while staying at the resort, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. We’re not wine experts—just enthusiastic tasters—but we found the whole experience genuinely engaging.
Our guide struck a perfect balance: knowledgeable without being overwhelming, and clearly passionate about what they do. We especially enjoyed learning about 'viticoltura eroica' and the challenges of growing vines in such a unique lagoon environment. Hearing the story of how the Dorona grape was rediscovered gave the wines a real sense of history and purpose.
What stayed with us was the philosophy behind everything—the way the skills of people from the lagoon come together, right down to the thoughtful details like how the bottles are made. It all felt very considered, without being over-explained.
Most importantly, we simply enjoyed the wines. They felt distinctive and well-crafted, and the tasting was relaxed and unpretentious, which suited us perfectly.
All in all, a really worthwhile experience, made even better by a guide who brought it all to life in a natural and approachable way.
